Wanting to experiment with using a whiter tone within my mark making experiments, I decided to add the white tone once the piece had fully dried. The strange and inserting element of this piece, is when I added the white paint the tone mixed together with the black to lead of blue toned piece running throughout. This is something I really liked due to it creating a hazy, murky look to the piece. In addition to this piece, I decided to start looking at the way the Cornwell uses drips within her pieces, therefore left light drips running down the piece. To conclude, I am happy with how this piece has turned out, I feel adding the dark black tones within the centre of the page allowed me to add more of the lighter marks therefore creating more tone.
