The marks Cornwell makes are extremely expressive, therefore so I felt I needed to start creating more expressive marks, something which I really love doing anyway. I started by using a grey colour mixed with water then made expressive marks across the page. I then added white paint straight onto the piece which mixed with the watery paint, something which I did not want to happen. Continuing with the grey and white mixture, I added various marks across the page. To conclude, I do not like how this piece turned out, it looks too messy therefore you cannot pick out the individual marks made.
