Deciding to add more colour to this piece allowed me to experiment wth making marks on various surfaces throughout the piece. I was able to layer the mediums upon each other which is something I enjoyed doing. I would defiantly like to start taking the mark I have been making further, for example, creating the marks on a larger scale, and look at starting to add various mediums to them. To conclude, I feel this piece went well, and would like to continue making more of these, especially trying out using various mark making. In addition to this, I feel these marks fit with within my topic of "creating a conversational piece" because they stand out and hold their own. Whilst very light marks, I feel the undertones of the dark colours draw your attention into the piece, the plain marks of the outside of  piece also drag you into the looking at the marks made within the piece.
