As I started to become more confident with spray painting, especially with way I had been applying paint, I decided to move onto using various colours and starting to apply two tonal colours together. I decided on using two neon colours because I feel it relates well to the rave scene within Grime culture. In addition to this, I love the bright and vibrate colours produced by these colours. I feel they work really well with the flowers and create an exuberant print. Whilst, I did still struggle with creating a neat finish on the pieces, I like how these piece have turned out. The large scale of them is defiantly something I would like to play around with potentially making some smaller pieces and combining them together. Whilst I feel spray painting is working out very well, Wiley uses paint to create most of his floral designs and I feel it would be ignorant to ignore this and not experiment with paint, therefore I am taking a short break from this sketchbook to experiments with using paint to create floral prints.
