Moving on from dark colours, I have slightly contradicted myself with this piece. However, I feel the amount of white used within the piece allows me too have experimented with a whiter tone. In addition to this, I started to experiment with mark making in a different style. I started by using the end of my paint brush to create grazed marks upon the piece. The marks made added so much more depth to the piece, therefore I felt it would have been pointless to ignore them, so I continued to make marks throughout the piece. To conclude, I feel this experiment was successful, I found a new way of mark making in which I will continue to experiment with, and I have started using a brighter tone.
