Liking the background texture of the previous piece, I began by focusing on the layered texture I had created. I really like this texture, firstly because I feel it represents my artists marks well and secondly because I feel a part of my own typing of make making has started to develop. To create this piece, I kept the paint brush extremely dry and using the paint brush roughly I added the layers of paint upon each other. Using, the paint in small amounts allow the piece to dry quickly and add these faded type of marks in which I really liked. I feel adding some white layers of tones upon this piece would work really well, almost enhancing the white gaps within the paint.
