Continuing with using pencil, I decided to add a lighter amount of it within this piece, due to the last piece being slightly too dark. For this piece, I began with using pencil first then going over the pencil with paint very lightly, only using small amounts. I felt this worked well, so continued to make light marks throughout the piece. To conclude, I am happy with how this piece has turned out. Creating these types of texture remind me of the underneath of peeling wallpaper, the rawness of the wall being exposed, and this is something I really enjoyed. Therefore would like to continue with creating these pieces and developing them in further detail, for example, trailing it out on a large scale.
