Texture is something I needed to include. So I included it. I started by using cling film, something I really enjoy using, due it being clear therefore allowing paint and other mediums to show through. In addition to this, a beautiful texture is created when any heat is applied to this medium. It completely melts and cripples creating brand new marks and pathways through the piece, every piece of it completely changes, nothing is the same. Therefore, I started to use cling film, then adding paint on top on the cling film, before allowing to dry. Once dry I added various burn marks within the piece. I feel this worked really well, the combination of texture, paint and gentle burn marks adapt together to conclude with something I find extremely interesting.
