Enjoying using the medium of pen, I moved onto trailing out pencil. I began by painting a white base onto the page, then slowly starting to add a pink colour, feeling as if the colour was not showing through enough, I decided to add hints of black tones throughout the centre. I started to then add pencil marks in contrasting parts of the page. I feel this piece works well, however I feel the piece should be viewed landscape rather than portrait. I did not turn the photo to make it landscape purely for the reason of it being created in a portrait sense and wanted to keep it true to it's form. To conclude, I am happy with how this piece turned out, and would like to continue using pencil as a medium.
