I decided to create my stencil out of something more durable, therefore I used card. It was extremely difficult to cut out, and took me a long time, around two hours as I found it extremely hard to cut out the petal shapes. I did initially find it hard to spread an even layer of paint within the piece, therefore a lot of faded marks were left. However, I feel the stencil was extremely effect, I really like they way the strong individual layers of the petals built up within the piece, I feel the bold colours holds it's own. One thing I would improve within this piece, is to maybe look at adding a background, potentially relating it to the marks I had been making throughout my previous sketchbooks.
